I started participating in this forum months before you did and I remember you very well back then.

I wanted to take the opportunity to give you a very belated, but no less sencere, thank you for your willingness to answer questions and share your expertise in the cattle business back then. It was very educational and my admiration and respect has continued over the years.

My second reason for posting: I read your thread about this fourm, "Flaming" and moderating. Knowing that you've been here as long as I have I was very suprised at your reaction knowing that the "flame wars" here ebb & flow and of late have been less then many other times in the forum's history.

The flaming wars was one of the reasons why I stopped paricipating here but the main reason was when Alex created the INO forum which later became the Marketforum. I've gotten to know Alex over the years and he is the best at what he does; he is a class act and it is reflected by running a class act.

P.S. Since I mainly lurk here I don't read flaming comments. Insider, I wonder if your calling attention to the flaming comments called attention to the flaming comments more than the actual flaming would have.
