Corn Chart Difference *PIC*

I haven't read any of the Corn posts as I can't stomach "Grain Talk"so this may have been covered by someone. But going through my charts I have noticed this big difference in the Corn charts for some time now. Also my newest 9 mil Gun is a CZ 75 Shadow which I love and I do seem to notice the Dec Corn chart with the CZ symbol, lol. I posted a chart of the Corn ETF:CORN which is a spread of 3 Corn futures contracts combined and can be traded in any stock account. This ETF smooths out the trend of Corn. This is the chart of Dec CORN with the May and July contract overlaid. The very big difference since last fall has been this Dec 2013 chart which is far more bearish and a much clearer chart to track. It matches up well with the Corn ETF:CORN. Note how this Dec contract has been in a consistent downtrend, stairsteping down in a clear pattern without the same choppiness as the May or July contracts. The Jan low at 572 that broke down in Feb has typically just served as price resistance on a rebound back to that breakdown point. Price collapsed on this failed test and plunged back to the early March low of 539 and if it remains below and doesn't snap back will be another breakdown. Lower techncials have been bearishly below their center lines since last November. Presently this Dec contract has a higher open interest along with higher volume than the front months of May or July. September contract has little interest. Just thought I'd point this out as most traders are focused on the short term front months and the Dec contract is and has been telling a different story for some time now.
