Yes. That was memorable, to say the least.

The margin requirements had increased to the point that only the Hunts, Arabs and floor traders could afford to play. There were no US options except in metal equities. Wonder if requirements will increase over the weekend...

Good to talk to somebody else who saw what happened at the time. Hard to imagine, unless you were in it, what these things are capable of.
