such a caution about news was told to me over 40 years ago:

it went like this:

canvas person goes up to black person outside of warehouse complex in africa. "hey, how much cocoa you all got in there?"

person: "we ain't got much, almost all out."

canvas person produces "gov't. report" as a statistic.

person: educated at the London School of Economics

that's how the world is run.

sometimes there is a shortage, most of the time you are a patsy.
