futures tax ?

have been trading futures for quite a few years, finally making a small profit.
My ? is I have a trader that is trading my account for me POA,
He takes a percentage of the profits. Will I have to get a tax id number from him
to show amount paid to him, or do I have to pay taxes on all the profit?
