this market is trying to signal more sideways. I have bot some DX recent because it is required based on study to void emotion.
the bots shave option premium so fast...sideways underlying can result in abnormally fast option decay.
but, that presents opportunity, too.
Dx options are very inefficient and subject to bizarre occurances. Enter at your own risk. Watch for opportunity during the last few days of option expiration....to offset options with futures buying/selling. One time, I had 10 options for sale at say $500/ea and the underlying futures made the options worth $1,000/ea..called the IB desk and said WTF? I hung up and got the sale almost immediately. Somebody bot my options and offset with the futures. Somebody made $5,000 on 20,000 margin for 24 hours. Risk free.
That's why you should never be fully invested. I should have had free balance to fund the arb, but....I am always at the limit. Well, not so much as before, since that.
