I think most people can understand that. With maybe only around 20% of the funds beating the market in any given year. That is a hard way to go. And the funds that try to enclude everything and do everything are probably not what they seem. Probably for the avg. Joe that knows trading just trade the indexes and ETFs. Ones who don't trade or maybe with many of the retirement accounts. Just let a retirement investment company handle it and be happy with less than avg. market gains. But maybe stay away from the do all do everything type investments. One does not have to be in everything. Even though that is a strong selling point for many investments.
