DAILY PIVOT MAGIC TRADING JOURNAL - EXCERPT
Good morning,
We got exactly what we projected in yesterday's PMTJournal
PERSPECTIVE, "Monday ...mighty red day candle, tap[ped] on
the lowest LT SW Channel Floor level (lavender dashed line).
Expect another tap and a breather day on Tuesday."
It was a rough day with lots of false starts. Our PMT
risk-conservative Money Management Rules kept us safe for
the most part, leaving us unbattered as we took a couple of
hearty bites out of the smoother stretches of trading Price
Action.
Breather or bouncer on Wednesday?!?
Enjoy and be well,

Tuesday 08 April 2014
1 = Tuesday opens at the Close, bounces, and turns back for a massive 2-bar at the Close. Breakout
is weird and the move fails.
2 = 123 Continuation through the Close.
A = The move takes off on a 2-candle 123, pulling us in with multiple contracts. Prepare for a Pivot
Scalp Exit if the LT Trend Channel Floor/Low (lavender line) holds.
B = DVS (pink arrow) blasts a giant red candle through the lavender line. Per our stop rules, the
profit-locking stop advances above the Low. This is also Maximum Profit Giveback (MPG) Level, so
consider a mental stop.
C = Position is deep in MPG violation. Twin Towers indicating a stall/sag/retrace on the next candle
seconds the call for a mental stop at Giveback Level.
3 = When the next candle reverses >62% we quickly pull the plug. +/-4.50 points
DVS-driven (pink arrow) 2-candle Reversal is suspect for longevity, so no Reversal here.
4 = A 2-candle 123 breakout leaves no Price Window to the proven Close.
5 = Volume (pink arrow) is strong, and we enter aggressively on this 123 through the Close.
D = Large white inverted Dragonfly Doji. Per our rules, move the stop under the low of the candle,
which BTW, is also Free Trade.
E = Giant white Marubozu candle races to the Pivot. Position is in MPG violation. Never sure if the
troops will rally into the hole punched by one of these sumo candles, so a mental stop at Giveback Level
is doubly welcome.
F = Large white Bull Dragonfly through the Pivot. Twin Towers (pink arrow) warns of a stall/sag/retest on
the next candle, so, even though per PMT stop rules, we might move the profit-locking stop under the
Pivot, exiting now will almost surely save us from giving back profits when the inevitable Pivot retest
occurs. +/- 5.0 points
7 & 8 = It is clearly lunchtime, so these reversal starts have no confirmation.
9 = Volume (pink arrow) is fairly robust behind this Failed TTT Corollary 123 Rebound Signal.
G = The Last PMT Entry Bell rings, and then the move takes off, without us.
EOD Hiccup (plum lines) is vaguely "V" check mark shaped, but more slopping sideways than plunging
to a conclusive EOD close.
PERSPECTIVE
(Daily, bottom chart)
Tuesday taped a nice white Bull Dragonfly day candle.
The candle tested the lowest LT SW Channel Floor level
(lavender dashed line), but at this time, the TTT
attempt closes undecided with a breather.
