His first (I believe it to be his first?) book, "How I Made One Million Dollars Trading Commodities Last Year", was something that I read in the early/mid seventies.
Loved his telling of his first foray, being frozen pork belly futures and how the broker jumped from the roof ....
In that book, he made most of his money trading egg futures. Good ol' CME, still referred to (by me) as The Chicago Butter and Egg Board.
Of course, being a "Merc Jerk", I'm glad they changed the name (although I used it and continue to do so).
