I hate that.

I believe that the poverty income level (say $25k) should be state and Fed tax-free. and all other deductions, etc. should be abolished.

I DO NOT believe in a consumption tax because the tax rate on the poor would be a greater % of income than the richer.

As it is now, the poor pay a higher % of disposable income to taxes. Social Security taxes phase out before $200k so even if income tax is higher...they reap benefits of Social Security ceiling.

I think capital gains should be income at all time frames and the little folks should not be limited to the $3k loss write-off per year. The little people are discriminated against because they always the loser.
