if you look at the 5 year weekly on KO, you can see a similarity between 2011 and 2014....and 2015 is still on the same track.

KO has had many gaps on the daily charts and I don't remember ever seeing that in such an old blue chip. Normally volatility like that would indicate a trend change but "normal" is not what is happening these days.
