Yep that is Risk Tolerance Threshold Theory in a nutshell. We see the extreme end of it on here all the time. Look around at how many posters talk about the collapse of the market and this conspiracy and that conspiracy. They are at the end of their race so they think the whole system is in demise also -- they are fear driven so of course they are blind to the good. And this fear happens to a much lesser degree to many people, fund managers included. Mean time the economy is humming right along and the world is still turning everyday.

It ain't rocket science. Love life! Play it like a game. Buy dips in up-trends and sell rallies's in down-trends.
