Sorry..I picked that up from the youngsters...they call people Dude regardless of sex. To me that seems like equality, so it snuck into my own lexicon. I try not to use it on my wife though.

I actually got an e-mail ad from Macy's and it said: "Dude! You can't beat these prices".
