I like advise from old farts, being one myself.

I put on my trades before the opening bell, enter a stop, and look at it in the morning to see if I was right or wrong.
If I'm right I'll watch to see should I take the money and run or add to it.
Being right on about a third of my trades keeps my Bride in spending money.
