I've been down that road too. Then I kick myself in my fat arse for wishin and hopin...
So, I stick to a couple of simple indicators - the 10 EMA being one of them.

I took a look at your trade - and was also watching for a bounce - but the trend is still down - sometimes these counter trend trades work - often they don't. You just need to be nimble - and take your profit/loss quickly.

Nice trade tho - you really had to ride that bronco with both hands on the reins!
