The anti-gun forces ... they never seem to consider history or statistics.

When I was a young boy ... the Pleistocene era ... Boy's Life Magazine used to advertise Marlin .22 center fire lever actions, with the "micro groove" barrel. You could actually order them, directly, from the magazine.

I lived, approximately, nine and one half miles from town. Every farm/farmhouse that you would drive by had rifles and shotguns. Typically, at least one of them was loaded and easily accessible at all times. Normally, that would be a .22, just in case a varmint was seen.

The murder rate, per capita, was nil ... The seventeen years that I lived in that area, not ONE murder. No gun related crime(s), not so much as an armed robbery. It made Mayberry look like it suffered from a crime wave.

Now, with relatively restrictive legislation, viz-a-viz firearms ... what are the stats ... especially in the Democrat Party controlled areas like Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles .. et al?
