Re: Love watching the liberal heads explode...
Hi, Trout. Your closing line fits what I thought about Obama and the courts keeping him in line. I was sadly mistaken.
RE: Senator McCain. I actually worked on his campaign and donated, nothing huge, but a sizeable amount. Due to his time as a POW, I believed that I owed him a debt of honor. His politics, and his Gang of Eight activities, were not to my liking. However, I felt that the nation owed him. Ever since then, he has not failed to disappoint me as, each year, he has gotten worse. His leftist positions have worsened with the years.
I truly could not get behind someone as anti-populist as Romney. I had to respect how his father came here, as a Mormon refugee from mestizo land ... worked as a rough carpenter and laborer and how his father, too broke to attend college, started out selling industrial paints out of his car. But Willard (Mitt) just bought into the liberal crap that those of his financial class represent ... I did vote for him, but did not do anything besides that.
I do not believe that it was those that "sat out" McCain and Romney that swung the electoral college for Trump. Rather, my belief is that the disaffected long time Democrat Party members tossed in for change.
I have an acquaintance, retired union carpenter, that voted for Obama in both elections. He is a life-long Democrat Party member. Before Obama even had his second inaugural .. every time that he opened his mouth it was ... That f--ken n-gger ... again and again and again. I would remind him that he voted for the man TWICE ... and all that he could say was .. Well, he's the Democrat ... I kid you not.
He voted for Trump.
There are two things that I would like to see ... I would like to see Trump's tax records. Even more than that ... I would like to see Obama's academic records, as he was the first president, in the history of this republic that did NOT release them..
