Hi, Doc. I have a friend that lives about a thirty minute walk .. so .. same subdivision.
He's mid nineties and still driving. Last year, I caught him on top of his roof .. as his fireplace chimney needed some tuck point work .. I told him that I'd take care of it.
However, when I arrive .. he was up there, with a stepladder set against that chimney ... hanging over the top of the chimney. I ran up the ladder and said, almost screaming, "Lee you're ninety-four ... I TOLD you that I'd take care of it for you .. What in the hell are you doing?"
He looked at me and .. just said .. "Well, I'm just getting everything ready for you. Don't worry ... I'll let you do all of the hard work."
Have to hand it to him .. Lee would probably be driving the fifty year old around. He doesn't like being a passenger.
