I know...I try but every morning when I go for my walk I start thinking how it won't be long I'll be walking through someones living room.
The only thing that I find amusing about it is when these pajama boy people and their spawn move in and see Ole Jed Clampett over here processing Bambi and cleaning fish in the back yard...now that could be funny.
I tell you though...the first pajama boy that crosses my property line with a gripe about anything I'm doing will be the last one. It took me a minute or two to become known up and down this road as someone you don't want to mess with.
Had one guy come up here after dark...knocked on the door...when I opened the door the first thing out of his mouth was...don't shoot me, I'm your neighbor. I was thinking...so? He was looking for his lost dog and wanted permission to step on the "farm".
I must be getting soft in my old age though because this couple down the road have come to visit us...I'm talking just come visit for the sake of visiting...on several occasion. I fear they may be messin up my reputation by telling others...oh...noooo...they're nice people...we've been to visit them several times and they didn't try to eat us. And...And...I spoke to my immediate neighbor the other day for 5 minutes! I even offered to help him cut up and move a tree that had fallen across the fence line. Gettin soft, I say.
I try to stay positive...but
