I found this gnarly piece of walnut. Didn't know how gnarly it was till I turned the bark off and got it round. It was so messed up that I decided to turn as simple a form as I could so that the gnarly grain would show as much as possible. Sometimes if you go to making an intricate form you will cut through the gnarly grain and turn it so much that the gnarly grain goes away. So, simple form.
