And a good thing it was, too. To the ignorant, their time frame reference begins when they become aware. To them, the earth is and always has been as they experience it during their time reference...since they have been alive. To them, since this is what they have known it means that is how it should stay. Never changing...static.

To the learned...we know that the climate has always changed. Since the time there was such a thing as a climate it has changed. Ice ages, hot spots, lower sea levels, higher sea levels etc. Constantly changing. The very opposite of static...the climate and the earth, for that matter, is dynamic...always changing.

In the seventies they were hollerin about global cooling, I know because I was there. Whoops...missed. Then it was the Ozone hole...turns out that too is always in a state of flux...shrinking and growing to fit whatever conditions it see's necessary to adjust to. Whoops...missed again. Then it was global warming...whoops missed again. Now they just use Climate change. Wow...say it ain't so Joe...the climate changes...you don't mean it.

Now they can't miss...cause the climate is always changing. But...if you let us take your money we can fix it! Essentially telling people they have the power of God in the matter of climate change. What a bunch of hokum.
