Thought I’d go out and spin a bowl this am. Get set up turn it on…I don’t know how but this piece of lumber stuck my right index finger…right where your thumb would naturally land if you touched the tip of your finger with your thumb as if to form the OK sign.

The part of the log to the right of the red line was what was sticking out of my finger. The rest…buried in the finger. Tried to pull it out, nope. Got some hemostats and pulled pretty much as hard as I could, nope.

Had to go to the doctors and have him cut it out. Nice.

Yet, I still drag my ass out of bed every morning like nothing bad will happen.
