Wow...with winds in Irma at 180 mph that makes it like an EF-4 tornado. EF-4 160 to 200 mile per hour winds. The hurricane though, covers a way bigger area and lasts a hell of a lot longer. I heard the most devastating area is 20 miles across near the eye.

Essentially a 20 mile wide tornado...with tons of water added.
