That would have been Ray Eberle on the vocals. Miller was a band leader, composer, and trombonist. He's the one that was shot down during WWII in 1944.
He's a bit more famous for some of his own compositions, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Moonlight Serenade, and Tuxedo Junction. Hell, for a period of time, Bing Crosby did his vocals.
Blueberry Hill wasn't exactly one of his hits.
