the only people...
watching this young black gentleman(30-40) on fox...very well spoken...good looking...ex blackhawk pilot, seen combat...candidate for congress...telling a story about his Dad wasn't allowed to go to college back in the day when there was real racism,...so the Dad started a business and became wealthy...or at least, well off. He said his Dad refused to be a victim of racism in this country.
That reminds me of something I used to tell a black liberal who was always whining about racism...
In this country, at this time, the only people effected by racism, which there's little of these days, are those who allow themselves to be affected by racism.
...and that's a fact.
Everybody is discriminated against by somebody. What matters is how the discriminated against lets that effect them. Phuck em was my attitude when I didn't pay enough attention to stop what I was doing and pound on em a little. :-)
