One time, I helped a candidate run for Mayor of Nashville. I got so high up in the organization that I ran a precinct office with the candidate and his brother(head of the organization) actually knowing my name in a good way. Believe it or not, I wasn't out there causing problems and being a detriment to the plan. The candidate, an old good ole boy judge in Nashville.
As a result of my working my way up the organization I was able to sit in on and watch the candidate do a television interviews. I thought the interviews was horrible. I don't think the guy understood the questions very well or he was just an affable dunce. It was cringe worthy. That's when I knew we were doomed. The thing, though, that doomed us the most was that he was from a time gone by. He was pretty old. The city had moved on to younger, fresher faces...which was exactly what won the election...Phil Bredesen.
That, I Think, was a large part of Roy Moore's problem he looked and sounded like he came out of an age gone by. The sexual harassment thing obviously didn't help anything and look for the demoncraps to use that until that dog don't hunt no more. I think the Moore team about had that beat down pretty well but there's no doubt it hurt him. I mean...he lost...but we're talking about 1.2% margin of victory here. Enough but even with all that was stacked against Moore...everything was stacked against him...the demoncraps...the republiturds...the media, including Fox.
