Was it included or deleted from some sort of index? Did a very large shareholder (founder?) die and the estate/heirs is liquidating to avail themselves of the new valuation from date-of-death?

Volume does not seem to be predictive in this issue. Perhaps you could research the reason for previous large volume spikes to see if there is a repeating explanation. I searched "news" but did not see anything recently that would explain it.
