Yeah, that's the corporate rate for all the companies here.

For residential I pay 350 a mth for 50gb of data from the satellite link.That's the cheapest rate.

If I paid for 20gb of data, it'd cost 200/mth. So, needless to say, we are all hoping for optic undersea cable one day.

it'd make internet speeds so much faster, and with Unlimited data to boot!!

No unlimited data plans here at the moment with TelAlaska, GCI or Optimera as they all use the sat link.

Sigh.
