I wrote some time back that I bought a new landline phone that had 250 slots of phone block memory. Jeeze 200 numbers blocked already. Recently, since The Woman is going on Medicare next year, the calls have exploded from people offer gap coverage. EXPLODED! 10-15 a day. That gap insurance must be one profitable racket cause they sure are trying to get our business.
Block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block, block!!! hahaha
Sometimes, when a new number comes through that I haven't blocked...they'll leave a message. The phone blinks when there's a message. It's annoying...blinking in the corner of my eye. Accessing the message center to delete them was a slow process especially since I chose a long assed access password string of numbers.
I noticed, in all this process, that there's a little button that says...access. I pushed it...it automatically dials up my access code and password string of numbers. It even allows for pauses between numbers in the process. Because it takes so long between doing the *98 and the phone companies computer asking for my password, I had to use two pauses...but I got it fixed. So instead of going through the long assed process...1 button...bam...I'm there...merrily deleting unsolicited gap provider bastards. Bam...bam...bam....deleter man on the move. bam, bam, bam.
