Re: but they couldn't have died...
"Sigh, unfortunately, my sis living in Singapore belongs to this group of people."
Sorry to hear that. I have one that's a yellow dog demoncrat. She's pro 2nd amendment, anti abortion, low tax person but she will not pull the lever for anything but a democrap. I gave up on her decades ago. Might as well be arguing with a boulder. Her political philosophy goes exactly this deep..."if it was good enough for my daddy it's good enough for me." Wow! As if nothing ever changes...like...this aint your daddies democrat party anymore.
Having been raised by the same dad, I was a demoncrap in my early years but was converted by one simple question from a guy named Bob...may God bless his soul where ever he is. He asked me "what pisses you off most about politics." I said...I hate those sons of bitcches who keep trying to take my guns. Bob then says...watch the news(which I always did) and see which party the people trying to take your guns belong to vs those who are trying to stop them. Bam...conversion began.
I've used that simple technique countless times. Maybe there's a contradiction in your sisters thinking that this technique may work on? Some though, like my sister, just will not change. That's when I learned that it's easier to steer the non-committed than to change those set in stone. Steering the non-committed is a much more productive endeavor for your energy output. 😎
