Here's a brine for ya...HCl. Hows that? Soak that foul creature, and I mean foul in the foulest of meanings, until it has been eviscerated from the collective memory banks of the UNIVERSE. Gone in such a fashion that it's existence in the universe could not be imagined.
Any critter meat that requires soaking in a bath of brine for two days and then smoked for hours with wood so as to mask its horrible taste just aint worth the effort.
The only way turkey can be made palatable is to inject filet mignon into it until the filet replaces every cell of the turkey and takes on the shape of a turkey...if you must...a turkey shaped piece of filet mignon.
At least, that's my take on turkey.
