One thing, though. Here's a couple facts about your Social Security check...one, it was never meant to be a retirement plan. It was designed as a retirement supplement to whatever type of retirement program you donated to during your working career and two, there is no contract between the godvernment's SS program and you. SS can and will likely, one day, be flat out yanked away from the citizens at anytime. It is not a guarantee.
