anybody have any experience painting a floor on a boat. I bought a fishing boat 5 or 6 years ago 8-10 who knows...the boat had been a display at the dealer and had been exposed to the weather for a couple of years. The carpet and vinal on the floor and deck surfaces was pretty bad years ago...now it's pathetic. I was thinking about ripping it all up and painting the marine plywood instead of resurfacing it with carpeting and vinal.

It's my fishing boat and I purposely bought the thing because I didn't want to have to worry about messing it up with fish blood and guts etc. I think a good highly UV resistant, water proof, non-slip paint would be the ticket but damned if I have any idea what that might be.

Any thoughts? Any one have any experience with anything like that.
