There were no countries, Including China that had any economic advantage of the US when it came to trade, That is perceptibly illogical. Comparative advantage is the equalizer. What is unacceptable is the intellectual property theft that China engaged in through trade, THIS is what the US needs to defend and counter strongly. Tariffs are a woefully inept counter.
