yes...6 months...at least cause the stuff won't last six months. We have been to the store as much as we normally have gone...about every three weeks to a month.

we still have our stockpile and added to it but I have come to realize we are desperately underfunded(haha) for the very long haul.

The problem with one item piles for the long haul...tons of peanut butter for us(high protein, good fat, it stores forever, and we love peanut butter)...is food boredom...you'll get sick of it...diversify!

I keep seeing these stories of meat houses getting closed down. I hear much more of that and those five deer I saw this am might need to watch out...hunting season be damned.

Food, shaving cream, BandAids, etc.. yes, yes, yes etc. Booze, bullets, and these things are good barter items.
