We have been catfishing a lot this year...putting meat in the freeze. Usually, I go fishing with the oldest nephew and the great nephew. Get a call from the neph wednesday before the 4th. Can't go fishing with you this weekend Unc. My bosses wife has the covid. Don't need to risk giving it to you. I appreciate that.

He got tested the next day...Thursday the 2nd...they told him he would hear something by Monday the 6th or Tuesday. It's now been 13 days and still no result. They told him if the test had been positive they would have called him.

I guess...no news is good news applies.

Turns out that the boss got the covid from his wife...their kids got the covid and the bosses uncle got the covid. Nice job, mom. haha

Their symptoms are weak to none including the boss who is also diabetic. Forgot to ask the bosses age but would assume mid forties.

Today will be 18 days since I was around the neph. I guess that qualifies as a 14 day quarantine.

Went to doctors yesterday for a regularly scheduled visit. Doctor said he has sent many for tests...no positive results. Sent no one to the hospital.

I would normally want to bash the government testing centers for the lag in getting test results but in all fairness there are a TON of peeps getting tests done and they are backlogged.

Hopefully catfishing to resume this Saturday.
