One time...way back when...I was mowing a Walmart complex and went in the Wally world for some water. They had this big stack of gallon jugs of water on sale for something cheap. Bought some, whipped the top of and went to swiggin some down...it tasted dusty. Strange as that may seem...dusty...like it had dirt in it or dust. Don't know if it was bottled that way or got that way somehow.

Haven't trusted bottled water for long term storage since.

For my water supply in times of non-commercial water source...pull it out of the well in the backyard.
