You can cut a half/slice and put in fridge and the seeds will be viable in the Spring. Just rinse off the Slime and pulp (which retard germination) and off they will go. I rinse in one of those gold coffee filters that are $7 on Amazon and they work GREAT! Just let the water roil the seeds around ro clean them off.
Great variety for tomato pies (although they are somewhar wet). Great sliced on a pizza or sandwich. Not a pretty tomato but excellent taste. Heirloom.
