Maybe not deleted...sometimes to save storage space he'll collapse the thread, as it were, to save space. Sometimes you have to look over to the right of where you reply....all he way to the right and see responses...click on that and it will expand the thread.

If it's not that it could be awaiting clearance for some reason...happens to mine sometimes.
