Happy Friday everyone!

I was recently faced with the need to either shut the forum down, or to make changes which would make it more tenable in the context of the TradingCharts business. The frequency and of objectional posts had become unacceptable - and the forum was no longer serving its purpose as being a friendly place for traders to exchange trading-related ideas and to engage in friendly conversation.

After shutting the forum down, I was persuaded to re-open the forum, at least temporarily. Since doing so, forum posts have been great! Thank you everyone! I am encouraged that we might be able to keep the forum running now, with the help of all of you.

However, I am concerned that the forum decorum will descend once again to the level where it again fails to be useful or friendly. For that reason, the Forum policy has been revised (see: "Contentious Off-Topic and/or Partisan Political Posts") and the policy will be much more vigorously enforced. Posts which violate the policy will be removed, and continued use of the forum by any individual will be contingent on observance of the policy. No apology or explanation will be owed or offered for any action taken as a result of policy violations.

Again, thanks to all of you who have strived to make the forum a great place! I hope we can keep the forum on track for years to come.
