I've been using Dell since forever...well...since one of the nephs started working there maybe close to 20 years ago. He gets me his employee discount and takes care of other stuff. They've been good computers for me. The last laptop lasted 7 years before something happened to either the screen itself or the video card. Don't know which. So I got this new one...7700 series. It's a 2n1...the monitor flips all the way backwards and acts as an I-pod...I pad...not sure which I don't keep up with that stuff. A feature I'll rarely use. It does have a touch screen which is, from time to time, a cool feature but another one I'll likely not use very often.

Seven years is a long time in computer life especially if you consider I turn these things on when I first get them and rarely ever turn them off. So, seven years of 24/7/365 is pretty impressive. Kinda glad I had to get a new because the other one was so old not all features of the programs I was running were working...I came to find out after I got this one. haha

This screen quality is a work of art compared to the old one...as one might imagine with 7 years of techno advancement.

Dell has been good machines for me.
