Yea...we finally ended up with snow approaching 7 inches. A dusting, I'm sure, to people accustomed to really snowy areas.

People don't know how to drive in the snow down here...well...let me rephrase that...people don't know how to drive down here. In the snow...forgetaboutit. Hell, when it rains it clogs up as if there was a few inches of snow anywhere else. It's really quite something to see.

Yesterday, on my pilgrimage to see my mother, some a-hole coming toward me, another truck, got so close it tore my drivers side mirror off...shattered it might be a better description That was the first incident I've ever had due to snowy roads and I used to take my 1970 Camaro with a hopped up engine and bald tires out in the snow to "practise" driving in the snow.
