Talk about inflation. When I was a youngun, back in the Pleistocene Period, there was a county bounty of $2.00 (Two U.S. Yankee Greenback Dollars) per fox. You had to turn in TWO ears, one ear would gitcha nothin'. It had to be two ears. Hundreds of times, literally hundreds of times, I walked into the county courthouse (Iowa County Iowa) and walked out with cash in hand, after carrying in ears of fox.
A hunnert dollars per ear? That's two hunnert per critter. I'd wind up buying some property in Maryland, maybe a small condo, and make it my hunting lodge.
