There isn't. Payments are arrived at by contribution(s) and age taken.

However, just as incomes by states are sometimes reference, it would be interesting to know the average by state ....

It would seem likely that the lower wage states would have lower SS payments. But, that's probably too illogical, considering SSI (welfare) may be added to the actual SS payments.

Your 15.3% contributions at work.
