Actually, if markets went to where they once were, you don't need ancient history. In the early years of this century, soybeans and corn were at levels not seen since the Great Russian Grain Robbery of '73.

We had corn under 2 dollars and soybeans in the low fours. Your chart didn't exactly show beans under five dollars, did it?

With mullets opining and hopefully trading, it doesn't take much to amass, as the GREAT W.D. Scam said, "half of the money in the world".
