Back in '77 I went off to college in Cookeville, TN...Tennessee Technological University. In our dorm was a few guys from Iran. They seemed to be decent guys and we got along fine with them. The Shaw was deposed, or whatever happened with that, and our dormmates were gone. Poof...fart in a whirlwind.

That was my first wake up call of sorts concerning governments of less than the stability of ours. Every once in a while, when Iran makes the news, I wonder about what happened to our dormmates. More than likely, for them to have been here in the first place they were of means of some sort. Not a favored group after the Shaw. Were they killed? Did they go on to live a normal life? Who knows.

Would prefer to stay out of every bodies business in the world but I noticed the air today didn't stink of evil bullchit as much. That makes me not care so much about interfering. Watched for 50 years as, for whatever reason, no one who could had the nerve to do. As I've always said about Trump...some things he does I like, some things not so much. This, I like.
