Gold futures are well worth a look at 1160. For years I believed gold was a relic. On a very long-term scale I still do. But given the inexperience of the coming U.S. Treasury Dept, and an executive office mindset out of step with our trading partners gold has upside. In the past I have always thought that anyone who said gold could go to $3,000 an ounce had no idea about the economics that drive markets. Not anymore.

For the first time in my life I'd actually rather be long gold than the S&P 500.

If I knew the tune of "The World Turned Upside Down", played by the British when they officially ceded control of the colonies to the Americans I'd be whistling it.

I have no fear for our republic though because I know there is a God in heaven
