Many problems that seem to be hardware related are really degraded software or browser decay. Always keep Internet Explorer as a backup, but never use it. It is a problem child. I like the Firefox browser and recently downloaded Brave because someone said it was a pretty good browser...but, have not had a chance to get to know it.

If your computer ever really crashes, you can try going in with Linux on a flash drive and sometimes, by bypassing Windows, etc. you can get all of your files.
