Lee - Israelis are doing exactly that! They have fast-tracked their FSRU import project following Egypt pipeline "hiccup" for short- medium-term until the new offshore huge gasfields are operative. FSRUs are favorite worldwide for fast entry to global LNG market as they are cheap and are on a charter basis (not owned) so are pretty flexible. Most of these are either short-term while onshore plant is built or on on 5 or 10 year charters and then either renew or move elsewhere.
