Re: 'Facts on Silver'

Hi SG,

Well, I simply put the title of Mr. Moriarty's article in my header (with quotation markes to emphasise that it's not mine), and provided a link to the original for those interested in reading that 'take' on the Silver market.

When I post something like this, it does not mean that I necessarily agree with or endorse any or all of what is conveyed, but rather just simply offering it up here for discussion, since this is a commodity forum designed for that express purpose.

As for Mr. Moriarty, I have read his stuff from time-to-time over the years, and have frequently disagreed with him. I thought this was one of his more interesting pieces however, with some actual 'facts', mixed in with a good helping of 'opinion'. As for his take on 'Gurus' I took from it that he was referring to those who have come late-to-the-party to recommend Silver when it has already gone up ten-fold. I'm sure Moriarty would be quite happy with folks like you who loaded up way back in the $4 range and may have championed the benefits of buying it then when it was clearly cheap and out of favor with the broader investment community.

The chief point from the article that I thought had merit was that Silver appears to have gone parabolic, and anyone recommending purchases at this stage should be given extra scrutiny.

In any event, it's just an article, and folks can take from it what they like and discard the rest.

Best of luck to you as well.
